I believe Marv Wolfman has stated that he doesn't spend much time in front of the computer. He spends a lot of time walking and thinking about a story, and then sits down and writes it in one sitting. Something I aspire too.
I'm walking in the garden for hours and just use my imagination until i got a good idea.
